  • D-30 193± acres. (Giles Co.) This tract is on one of the prettiest rivers in southwest Virginia known as Wolf Creek. Crystal clear mountain water flows through this large creek bed that fronts on the 193+/- acre tract. The property extends from Wolf Creek to the top of Wolf Creek Mountain. Access is a deeded right of way that is a rough, 4-wheel drive access road to the top of the mountain. There is a cabin site right next to the river with excellent access. The trail to the top of the mountain is approximately 1.2 miles (so pack a lunch). Once on top, there are incredible views from a predominant peak as well as beautiful mature timber and trails. This would be an excellent hiking, horseback riding or recreational tract.
Directions
Take I-77 north from I-81 to the Rocky Gap exit; take Hwy 61 east .2 mile and turn left at stop sign on Hwy 61; go .1 mile and turn right on Hwy 61 at the BP Station; go 8.5 miles on Hwy 61 (Wolf Creek Rd); when you see a driveway turning back to the right (Hughs Rd) go just past the driveway carefully make a 100 degree turn and enter Hughs Rd; continue on Hughs Rd approximately .2 mile to a stone house; from the stone house access is 4-wheel drive only. Park and hike and take a lunch. It is over a mile up to the top. The boundary will be marked with a sign to identify the beginning of the boundary on top of the mountain.
